YouTuber Shows Off Side-by-Side Comparison of Final Fantasy 12 on PS2 and PS4 (Video)

Final Fantasy 12

Fans of the series have been anxiously waiting to get their hands on The Zodiac Age remaster of Final Fantasy 12 that is set for release on July 11 for the PlayStation 4. Sure, there is a new expansion for Final Fantasy 14 and the most recent DLC for Final Fantasy 15 to keep one entertained, but some players just want to relive the past title. With the sharper graphics, and after watching this new video from YouTuber Candyland, it will be even harder for fans to resist.

In the video below, they show the PS2 and PS4 Pro versions of Final Fantasy 12 side-by-side in order to help gamers really see the striking differences between the two. The new graphics are obviously much more crisp and detailed than the version released over 10 years ago, and after watching, players may end up wanting the PS4 Pro for themselves as well. Check out the side-by-side comparison video below:

The change is truly amazing and despite complaints of too many remasters and not enough original game ideas, fans still continue to purchase them and sales numbers are impressive for titles such as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Hopefully, this Final Fantasy 12 remaster will do well too and if not, then lesson learned. After seeing the comparison video though, it is hard to imagine this game doing anything less than great when it comes to the gamers looking for a little bit of nostalgia.
