Far Cry 5 Gets Resident Evil 3 Make Over By Dedicated Fan (VIDEO)
It’s not hard to see that Far Cry 5 has some incredible features, and one of the best among them may arguably be the level editor. With tons of content from a vast range of Ubisoft titles, players are able to create detailed maps for others to enjoy. One such fan, ZergRex, has done exactly this and recreated the Resident Evil 3 opening map. Needless to say, it is rather impressive!
The recreation by ZergRex isn’t the first Resident Evil title they’ve mapped on Far Cry 5. Before the map that can be seen in the video below, this creator redid Resident Evil 2 in the same level editor. The time it took to recreate the first part of the game, in perfect detail, is amazing and fans can check it out themselves below:
It is clear from the video above that there was nothing skimped on for this recreation. The placement of items is spot on, with even the tiniest details being recreated as best as the level editor in Far Cry 5 would allow. This recreation looks almost like it’s a remake of the game than anything else.
The player encounters zombies, zombie dogs, and even a Nemesis-like boss at the end. It takes incredible skill to pull something like this off, even in a level creator like in Far Cry 5. Our hats are certainly off to this dedicated fan! With the Resident Evil 2 remake coming out January 5th, this is definitely something that will give fans more excitement!
