Official Far Cry 5 Limited Edition Gaming Headphones Revealed
In partnership with Thrustmaster, Ubisoft announced gaming paraphernalia for fans anxiously awaiting the franchise’s next title. Official Far Cry 5 limited edition gaming headphones have been revealed, showing off two different versions of a black and red color scheme with a tasteful touch of good ol’ Americana.
While the general look of each headset are nearly identical, the main difference is in the price – one more affordable than the other with fairly significant variation in material and sound quality. The Y-300CPX Far Cry 5 Limited Edition headphone is the “high-fidelity stereo version” of its slightly pricier sister, the Y-350CPX. Both host high-performing specs that will come in handy during co-operative gameplay. Who said gaming couldn’t look good too? Here are the specifications:

Y-350CPX
- High-performance microphone: unidirectional, detachable and adjustable. Designed to only target the player’s voice for the most effective communication with teammates, and the least amount of interference.

Y-300CPX
- The Y-300CPX Far Cry 5 Edition is the high-fidelity stereo version of the Y-350CPX model. The Y-300CPX ensures a perfect balance between bass, mids and treble thanks to very high-performance audio rendering, with an ideal frequency response curve for the soundscape in Far Cry 5.

- 50 mm/1.97” drivers.

Both Far Cry 5 limited edition headsets are optimally functional in terms of gaming paraphernalia, each with their own microphone and nearly identical in design – Eden’s Gate cross and all. The Y-300CPX will retail at $59.99 (USD) while the Y-350CPX will be priced at $99.99 (USD), both of which can be seen in the gallery above from left to right respectively.
