Fallout 3 Anniversary Edition Reportedly Coming To PS4

Fallout 3 is unquestionably an iconic game, one that has received loads of love and fan tributes ever since it first released back in 2008. Now, it appears that fans of the Bethesda game may have something to look forward to. According to a leaked document uncovered over at Powerup, a new version of Fallout 3 titled ‘Fallout 3 Anniversary Edition’ is in development by Bethesda, and it will allegedly be releasing for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. According to the document, the announcement for the new version of the game will be made during Nintendo’s E3 briefing.

Now, a Fallout 3 release on the Switch would be amazing, as until now the title has only been available on PC and Sony and Microsoft consoles. Given the fact that Fallout 3 released 10 years ago, the ‘Fallout 3 Anniversary Edition’ title works perfectly as well. Naturally this should be taken with a massive grain of salt, especially with a title that is now ten years old. That said, a Fallout 3 announcement of any kind made at E3 would likely be received with a massive amount of fanfare, so it’d certainly within the realm of possibility. Here’s a quick breakdown of Fallout 3 for those curious:

Vault-Tec engineers have worked around the clock on an interactive reproduction of Wasteland life for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own vault. Included is an expansive world, unique combat, shockingly realistic visuals, tons of player choice, and an incredible cast of dynamic characters. Every minute is a fight for survival against the terrors of the outside world — radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. From Vault-Tec, America’s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation. “

Fallout 3 is now available for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
