EA Community Manager Teases Skate 4 With A Single Tweet And Fans Are Thrilled

Skate 4

In the world of Social Media, it’s not hard to leak information about game titles with a single post online. One post confirming or denying a game’s title can go viral within minutes, taking the gaming community by storm in the simplest way possible and hyping up players in ways unprecedented. This time, the hype train has departed for greater glory for EA as Daniel Lingen, EA’s community manager unofficially announced Skate 4 on Twitter. Unsurprisingly, fans have been stoked about this announcement. Check out the Tweet below and see for yourself:

Look at this thing; there isn’t even an official announcement. Just a hashtag and six characters! It goes without saying that fans are stoked about this post, considering it’s been over 5 years since the last Skate game has hit the shelves. Gamers have even gone so far as to strike up campaigns on Twitter and Instagram to try and spark a revival in this beloved series, and it looks like their hard work has paid off, after all. So far, there isn’t and official announcement from EA about the game’s revival, but with Lingen’s cryptic post, it’s only a matter of time before developers announce the game’s creation, or at least makes a comment about it. In either case, at least we’ll have some idea of what developers have in mind for the game series’ future.

Who knows? Hopefully there will be an announcement for Skate 4 at E3 this year. So far, game developers are prepping for the yearly event, and fans of all kinds are waiting in anticipation to find out what games will be announced. Even Phil Spencer is excited about Xbox’s lineup for the coming months. Maybe he’s in cahoots with EA for Skate 4? Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out then!

So what do you think about the Twitter announcement from Daniel Lingen? Do you think Skate 4 is coming soon to a console near you? Do you think this Twitter post is a red herring for another announcement? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and game on!
