Dynasty Warriors 9 Release Headed to More Platforms, No Longer PS4 Exclusive
The ninth entry in the main Dynasty Warriors series has been quite an anticipated one, due to publisher Koei Tecmo calling it a “rebirth” of sorts for the 15 year old franchise. The action-packed hack-and-slasher has stood the test of time for its focused and over the top gameplay, but Omega Force are now introducing an open world element to the mix. It was previously thought that players would only be able to enjoy the new game on PlayStation 4, but Koei Tecmo has now revealed that the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 9 release will also include Xbox One and PC as well.
Adding to gamers ability to traverse a large open-world, Dynasty Warriors 9 will also feature environments based on various landscapes of ancient China. The new attention to detail aims to bring to life settings such as bamboo forests, snowy mountains, and the Great Wall of China. You can check out a few new screenshots of the beautiful terrain below.
Koei Tecmo has yet to announce a release date, but we’ll let you know here at Don’t Feed the Gamers as soon as it goes live. What do you think?
