Call of Duty Zombie Chronicles Rumors Continue to Emerge

Zombie Chronicles

It looks like new evidence for the new Zombie Chronicles title for Call of Duty fans has emerged online, thanks to the findings of Reddit user LackingAGoodName. An official announcement hasn’t come from Activision specifically about the possible release but from the discovery, which had been posted on Reddit regarding this evidence, this title may be coming to consoles soon (more specifically PlayStation 4 first, considering all the exclusivity deals between Sony and Activision). Known as Zombie Chronicles, the evidence that has emerged for this possible game states that this particular edition of the popular zombie mode will include eight Zombie maps from previous games.

According to LackingAGoodName, the description for this zombie title has been hidden in Call of Duty’s Message of the Day. Reportedly encrypted within the files, the Reddit user has unearthed this particular message pertaining to Zombie Chronicles, which can be seen below:

Includes 8 classic remastered maps for Call of Duty® Zombies: World at War, Call of Duty®: Black Ops and Call of Duty®: Black Ops II. Complete original saga maps remastered in HD available on Call of Duty®: Black Ops III.

Experience the remastered zombie collection and experience the undead story first on PS4 ™.

Zombie Chronicles includes:

~ 3 maps from Call of Duty®: World at War: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt and Shi No Numa
~ 4 maps from Call of Duty®: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la and Moon
~ 1 map from Call of Duty®: Black Ops II: Origins
~ Takeo and Richtofen Calling Cards
~ Dempsey and Nikolai Calling Cards
~ Zombies Heroes Animated Calling Cards
~ Limited Edition Camouflage Tin Can

Zombie Chronicles

If the rumors are true, Zombie Chronicles will stem from previous Call of Duty titles, including World at War, Black Ops, and Black Ops 2, though fans will have to wait for future confirmation from Activision regarding the possibility of Zombie Chronicles coming to light. A previous ESRB posting for the game was recently removed from the web regarding the re-release, but that doesn’t mean the title is dead. This just means that fans will just have to keep their ears to the ground and wait for Activision to address the possible game in the near future, whether or not the game will be made.
