Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour Coming To Nintendo Switch (VIDEO)
If there’s any opportune time for Duke Nukem to show up, it’s definitely 2020. In a time where chaos seems to reign supreme, why not add more to the mix? Presenting Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour, the one and only king of destruction, connoisseur of hot bikini-clad babes, wielder of big guns is coming to Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer below:
Celebrating 20 years of carnage, Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour includes four classic episodes and an all-new one to run through. It features HD rumble, 8 new maps created by the original designers, gyroscopic aiming, and ad-hoc multiplayer. There’s also campaign co-op, Dukematch, new weapons, voice lines from the original voice actor, and music. Overall, it’s a completely three-dimensional, remastered experience on the 1996 game. Of course, if you want to enjoy it with original graphics, there’s that option too.
Better yet, fire up the Incinerator – a new weapon Sonka introduces in this edition – to make some great alien barbecue. It is Summer time and we all need a great cook out. Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour heads to the Nintendo Switch on June 23rd for $9.99 (USD). However, if you jump on it quick enough, you can get it for a specially marked price of $4.99.
What do you think about the Duke Nukem franchise? Should they create an all-new game to continue his Earth-saving legacy, or do you like remastered editions like this?
