Ok – let’s be honest here. The trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 was great and all but let’s all take a moment to appreciate the real reason we all loved it so much: Baby Groot. Never has rage looked so adorable in such a compact little package of cuteness. Just … a moment of silence, please…

Now then, let’s get to what the wildly loved replica retailer NECA has in store for us because fans of this pint sized mini-hero are going to love this. The site released the first official images of the Baby Groot replica claiming that he was “created using the actual digital files used in the making of the movie for screen accuracy” and has him coming in at an “awww” size of 10 inches tall. Check out the image below to see the comparison in relation to their life-sized Rocket:

Baby Groot will be detailed utilizing a hand painted foam rubber and latex with an incredibly amount of attention to detail. Though the figure itself does not yet have a price point, we do know that this little guy will be shipping out to retailers everywhere April 2017! Perfect for any collector! Don’t believe us? Check out the gallery below and see him in action yourself:

So what say you, Groot fans? Is he adorable or what? Will you be adding him to your collection or waiting on a pass to see what other kind of goodies NECA has in store for us?
