During QuakeCon 2019, Bethesda and their studios celebrated the 25th anniversary of the DOOM franchise by dubbing this year’s festivities respectively. In addition to a host of events, panels, activities, there were also a few interesting reveals. In fact, for players of DOOM Eternal, there’s a new enemy in town and its name is the DOOM Hunter. It may not have legs, but there’s plenty of other qualities to make this another fearsome encounter. Check out the reveal below beginning at 4:56:

Doom Eternal’s DOOM Hunter features an array of fearsome abilities including a missile launcher, fiery chainsaws, and a skullface gun. Based on the glance at its design, there’s likely more to the DOOM Hunter than what’s been revealed so far. More information will likely pop up in the coming days.

During the keynote presentation at QuakeCon 2019, id Software executive producer Marty Stratton and creative director Hugo Martin had tons of new content heading to DOOM Eternal, including the classic collection for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
