New Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Trailer Showcases Noctis’ Badass Moveset (VIDEO)

Final Fantasy NT Trailer

With the arrival of Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT on the PlayStation 4 only a few months away, publisher Square Enix is pulling out all the stops to get hype levels up for the port of the Japanese arcade game ahead of its release. The publisher’s latest efforts were revealed during a livestream celebrating the title’s two year anniversary, where a new Dissidia Final Fantasy NT trailer was shown featuring the moveset of Final Fantasy XV protagonist Noctis. In addition to teasing his moveset for those looking forward to the 2018 PS4 release of the game, the trailer also serves as a herald to Noctis’ arrival in the Japanese arcade version of the title, which is happening in a large update on December 7th. Check out the latest Dissidia Final Fantasy NT trailer below:

As seen in the trailer, Noctis’ playstyle appears to be true to his abilities in Final Fantasy XV. His Armiger system is in full effect, with the crown prince able to choose from several different weapons to use while laying the hurt on Garland. Noct also has access to his ‘Warp Strike’ ability. First seen in the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie, ‘Warp Strike’ has its user throw a dagger a short distance before teleporting to it. In the trailer Noctis can be seen using said ability to both dodge attacks and close the gap between he and Garland.

Also recently released are a few pictures showing off Noctis’ alternate costumes. The crown prince can choose between his casual attire – his most iconic look – and his royal garb, both of which feature a few different color options. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is arriving on the PlayStation 4 on January 20th, 2018. For those that can’t seem to get enough Noctis in their lives, Noct is also coming to Tekken 7 as a DLC character next year.
