Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Goes Live – Here Is What’s New!
Destiny 2 continues to keep players coming back for more with fresh content. New events, weapons, and more seemingly pop up on a daily basis, which is great for gamers looking to fully immerse themselves within the game’s universe. Recently, the title’s first Iron Banner kicked off, bringing a new map along for the ride. This must mean the Destiny 2 weekly reset is in full swing.
Familiarity will be present among Destiny 2 beta players, with much of the reset taking gamers to Nessus, which was featured heavily in the testing phase of the game. This week’s Nightfall strike will be The Inverted Spire. A combination of Red Legion and Vex enemies will be aiming to take you out as they fight amongst themselves. The active modifiers during the week of October 10 will surely help players achieve their goal, with “Killing Time” allowing the Nightfall timer to be increased as enemies are killed. On the other hand, you’ll want to use cover in abundance as “Attrition” impairs health and shield regeneration.
The challenges for this week will certainly provide players with enough difficulty to get their competitive side active. “Speed of Dark” needs at least five minutes left on the timer after the strike is completed in order to be achieved. Players will need to finish the strike with less than three deaths to complete the “Unbroken” challenge, while “The Floor is Lava” requires participants to not be hit by Protheon’s ground attack before vanquishing the enemy.
The new Destiny 2 weekly reset also places the Flashpoint on Nessus. Akin to every week, public events will need to be completed in order to add a percentage to the milestone. Of course, taking on Heroic events will help achieve the goal quicker. As for the Leviathan Raid, the new rotation is as follows: Royal Pools, The Gauntlet, Pleasure Gardens, and Calus.
Ikora will have three new meditations for you with the new reset. These, of course, allow players to return to key missions from the campaign and earn new rewards. October 10’s Destiny 2 weekly reset is offering Combustion, Chosen, and Hope, so be sure to visit Ikora and obtain glorious loot. Destiny 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC release approaching on October 24.
