The third installment to the wacky murder-mystery series, Danganronpa, is finally getting a set release date in America. For fans of the previous titles, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will be officially released on September 26th of this year. If you happen to live in Europe, you can expect to find the game hitting shelves on September 29th. This is a big deal for fans of the previous games, as the release of this new title comes with some brand new content for gamers to explore, and a familiar premise to follow.

So what all comes in this third installment of the cult classic series? According to NIS America, gamers will have 16 brand new cast members to meet, and two new game mechanics that haven’t been seen in previous Danganronpa titles. This “psycho-cool” title promises some pretty serious thrills and tough mysteries to solves for gamers everywhere as the stakes for solving this crime mystery have never been higher.

The Danganronpa franchise is a series of high-speed,logic-action games in which the player must reveal the culprit behind a different murder by refuting the various contradictions that appear during each class trial. New game features have also been added to help you advance each trial to its conclusion, such as the ability to lie and the Scrum Debate, where students split into two teams and present competing arguments against each other. With its striking “psycho-cool” visuals and art direction, this newest chapter in the Danganronpa universe is about to begin.

NIS America definitely has their hands full, dolling out content to their fans, but it’s a task that’s well prepared and eagerly anticipated. Not only does Killing Harmony now have a set release date, it was also announced that Ultra Despair Girls is also coming to PlayStation 4, and Disgaea 5 Complete has also secured a release date on the Nintendo Switch. So whatever your gaming choice, it looks like NIS America has you covered with great content for a while to come. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony comes to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in September, so make sure you pre-order your copy to get all the great content coming!
