Cyberpunk 2077 Hired Real City Planners For Night City
There are still many months to go until players are able to dive into the upcoming futuristic RPG from CD Projekt RED, but that isn’t stopping anyone from getting excited, especially after the recent gameplay video that was shown. That said, there is going to be a bounty of detail put into Cyberpunk 2077, including Night City itself as the devs brought in real city planners to help.
Following the reveal of the Deep Dive video into Cyberpunk 2077, the devs themselves released a Q&A video that brought forth a myriad of details about the upcoming title. During the little roundtable session, it was revealed that actual city planners were brought in to help construct Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 quest designer Philipp Weber noted how the devs were very adamant about making sure that Night City feels as real as possible, including how the traffic behaves. In addition to this, they want to make Night City feel organic, not only because they want players to sink into it, but also because they want it to be easily navigable.
For those who don’t know what to expect from Cyberpunk 2077, here’s more:
“Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive on April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
