Cyberpunk 2077 Leak Reveals Connection Between Single And Multiplayer Modes (VIDEO)

Cyberpunk 2077 Leak

Despite some former in-house concerns, developer CD Projekt RED’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 game is still in development, though the studio hasn’t released any new content regarding the title in quite some time. Thankfully, those looking forward to the developer’s mysterious new IP can at least be partially sated by a new Cyberpunk 2077 leak, courtesy of The Triple S League. As reported by Madqueen Show, the developer is working on a “social hub” within the game that will enable players to interact with one another. This in turn will feed into both Cyberpunk 2077’s single and multiplayer modes, and will in fact be “the most important bridge between the forever alone single player version and the multiplayer version of the game.”

Though the information provided is a bit vague, Madqueen goes on to say that the social hubs will for the most part be located in bars, “where we are going to find other activities to do.” Apparently players will be able to engage in mini-games with other players, which will allegedly affect both the single and multiplayer modes within the game. Other games have been known to offer quirky mini-games as temporary distractions, though the social hub that is allegedly in the works is expected to take this much further.

While the Madqueen goes on to admit that the latest Cyberpunk 2077 leak isn’t exactly surprising news, it is also revealed that there are some real concerns regarding the implementation of the game’s social hubs.  According to Madqueen, the RED engine that is being used on Cyberpunk 2077 is nowhere near ready to support multiplayer, “at least it wasn’t, depending on how advanced the development on the multiplayer actually is.” The RED engine the developer is using on Cyberpunk 2077 is the same one that was used for The Witcher 3, and as such will require some significant upgrades in order to “adapt this engine to a multiplayer environment.” Without any actual reports from the developer on their progress, it is difficult to gauge how accurate the above Cyberpunk 2077 leak actually is. That said, given how massively success The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was, all eyes are on CD Projekt RED.

So, thoughts on the latest Cyberpunk 2077 leak? What types of mini-games do you think will be included in the social hubs?
