New Cyberpunk 2077 Footage Rumored To Showcase At E3 2018

Cyberpunk 2077 Footage

CD Projekt RED has been working quietly for the past few years on a game based on the Cyberpunk role-playing property called Cyberpunk 2077. Recently the game makers broke their radio silence with a simple sound effect, confirming there’s still life in the highly anticipated title. With this newly-invigorated hype, fans have been wondering when we’ll get our next piece of information regarding the upcoming game. According to recent report, we can expect new Cyberpunk 2077 footage to showcase at this year’s E3 2018.

According to Polish gaming site GRYOnline.pl, the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo is when we’ll get our first new look in years at the open sci-fi world of Cyberpunk 2077. From the website’s sources, this June will see developers indulge fans with an epic new trailer for the game, likely debuting it early on or before E3 takes place. It wasn’t specified which conference could potentially premiere the trailer.

Where the real excitement lies is that a playable demo is also said to be coming to Los Angeles event, but will only be presented for industry insiders and journalists behind closed doors. As CD Projekt RED similarly showcased The Witcher 3‘s first gameplay at E3 2013, this potential news could indicate the game has made great strides in development. The third Witcher game later arrived for gamers in 2015, so perhaps a 2019-2020 release window may be in the cards.

Or none of it could happen, because this is unconfirmed information after all. CD Projekt RED themselves reportedly responded as such, saying the company doesn’t comment on matters of rumor or speculation. Oh, *beep*. I guess we won’t know for sure until E3 rolls around on June 12.
