Microsoft’s Brand New Custom Controllers for Xbox One – Mass Effect, Gwent, Gears and More! (VIDEO)
It looks like Microsoft is going to have a stellar year when it comes to their gaming consoles. New features have already been added to the Xbox One systems and a lot more are on the way. Not to mention that at this year’s E3, we will finally get to see the illusive Project Scorpio. To add to the nonstop flow of new features and peripherals, Microsoft has created a rather impressive line of custom controllers for the Xbox One, based on popular games that have or are releasing this year. Check them out in the video below:
Last year, Microsoft announced their Xbox Design Lab in which gamers could choose from over 8 million different color combinations to create the controller of their dreams. Even with the added option to have your Xbox gamer tag engraved on the controller, you’re still just left with a custom color scheme. It seems that the gaming giants are broadening their horizons by producing custom controllers based on popular video games such as Mass Effect: Andromeda, Gwent, Injustice 2, Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves, and more. These aren’t just color schemes or the stickers you buy off of eBay, these are high quality graphics sealed in a glossy finish to show your friends just which games are the most important to you.
Xbox is on a roll, so far this year. They’ve implemented Xbox Clubs and Looking for Group features, as well as improvements to the user interface of their popular consoles. Recently the company announced their Netflix-esque game streaming service, Xbox Game Pass, which already looks to be quite a hit in the age of digital libraries. We’re only in month three of 2017, so we can surely expect more greatness coming from Microsoft and Xbox, including the unveiling of Project Scorpio. Keep it up Xbox, you’ve got our attention.
What do you think of the Xbox One custom controllers? which one would you pick up? Do you think that Xbox is on a steady track to dominating 2017?
