Crysis Remastered Trailer Reveals Seamless Nintendo Switch Gameplay (VIDEO)

Crysis Remastered

As with several other games slated for release this year, Crysis Remastered announced a delayed release date and asked for the community’s patience as they push it out a few weeks later than they had initially anticipated. Though there hasn’t been an update on the official release date for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, the developers revealed the launch date for the Nintendo Switch with a gameplay trailer. Check it out below:

Crysis was originally released in 2007 and was revered as one of the most graphically advanced games of its time. It’s a fast-paced, first-person shooter set in a massive sandbox world. Despite being ahead of its time, the passionate community behind the original Crysis wanted to see a remastered edition for current generation consoles. Soon enough, it’ll be available to everyone.

“What begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over the game’s island setting,” reads a short synopsis of Crysis’ story. “Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, players must use adaptive tactics to survive and conquer.”

Crysis Remastered heads to the Nintendo Switch on July 23rd. Pre-orders are available now on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 (USD). It likely won’t be long until Crytek and Saber Interactive announces the date for other platforms. For the time being, they’re asking the community to wait just a little bit longer.
