WATCH: Civilization VI Now Available For iPad, First 60 Turns Free
Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is a highly popular strategy game from an incredibly beloved franchise. Not only does the series over a rich gameplay experience, but the depth of the in-game mechanics are one that could easily cause players to sink hours into effortlessly while enjoying every minute of it. Because of this, it shouldn’t be too shocking to learn that there was a rising mobile demand for the title – luckily, that demand has been met. Sort of.
Civilization VI is now available on iPad devices with the first 60 turns being offered for free – essentially making it free-to-play up until a certain port. With the base game’s expansion, Rise and Fall, slated for a 2018 release, it’s the perfect time to jump into this franchise with full enthusiasm! Check out the launch trailer in the video below:
This is big for the Civilisation series, because this is first installment for the base game franchise to make its way over to this particular mobile platform. . And the team has assured players that the game itself has been completely reworked to specifically fit the iPad’s control system, making the port as smooth as it can possibly be. The game right now is $29.99 with launch discount, with it jumping back to the full $59.99 price at a later date – that price tag also only includes the base game, it won’t include previously released additional content.
