CD Projekt RED Asks Fans To Not Buy $400 Cyberpunk 2077 Jackets

Cyberpunk 2077 Jackets

With E3 2019 over, a retrospective look back at the big week would be hard pressed to not consider Cyberpunk 2077 as one of the biggest and most talked about games at the event. The new trailer for the game wowed audiences, and the Internet collectively had its breath taken away at the sight of Keanu Reeves, both in game and at the Microsoft press conference.

Another big piece of fanfare were the Cyberpunk 2077 jackets that were seen at E3. These hot fashion statements ended up being in high demand, with resellers putting them for sale online at extremely high amounts. Now, CD Projekt RED has asked the fans to not spend ludicrous amounts on these jackets, and for a very good reason.

CD Projekt RED business development director Rafal Jaki recently shared the company’s request for fans on his official Twitter account. Jaki shares a screenshot of eBay listings for the jacket that was made available at E3 2019. The jacket is reversible between a black exterior and a yellow exterior. Some of the listings have the price surpassing $400. As such, Jaki warns fans that were not at E3 that this will not be the only time that they can purchase a similar version of these jackets.

CD Projekt RED plans on making a similar jacket available on their online store some time soon. While a price is not given, Jaki claims that the jacket will be available for much less than $400 price tags that the eBay listings have given. It is quite a nice jacket, and it is very thoughtful and considerate of CD Projekt RED to let fans know about their intentions to make it more available soon.
