Call Of Duty: WWII Leak Highlights New Guns And Returning Game Modes (VIDEO)
Since its the release earlier this month, the latest entry into the CoD franchise has been chugging along fairly well. With a few bumps along the way, Sledgehammer Games has been praised for returning the series to its roots instead of pushing for more futuristic content. That being said, the game is still very much in the early stages of its life on the market, meaning more glory is to come for players. Thankfully, a recent Call of Duty: WWII leak shows off what the future contains for gamers.
New guns and returning game modes are present in the video, which has since been taken down from both YouTube and Reddit. However, through the powers of technology and the internet, the leaked footage lives on. YouTuber MrJaRni, who has released a plethora of early CoD info in the past, is responsible for the initial upload, which was secured by Reddit user xXCrankXx93. Check it out below:
The CoD: WWII leak leads off with Gun Game, the popular progression based mode that allows players to level-up their weapons by killing enemies. Lockdown, Demolition, and Control all make appearances in the video. Also returning will be Infected, the fun game mode that pits survivors against, well… the infected, with each death of the healthy leading to more sickness. This party-style gameplay will be making its way to the WWII-setting, and now with more shovels!
Plenty of guns are also shown in the leaked footage, some of which were on the list that was datamined last week. Unfortunately, no word has been given as to when any of this content will arrive in-game. More importantly, it remains unclear as to whether or not the returning game modes will be part of the Season Pass. Here’s hoping all players get them for free.
Call of Duty: WWII is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for more gaming news, check out the following:
