Bully 2 Leaked Screenshots Confirmed As Fake

As long as the video game industry has seen franchises endure past a single title, the rumor mill regarding potential sequels to beloved games has been ever ongoing. One such consistently rumored sequel has been Bully 2, the hypothetical followup for the classic Rockstar Games open world title. Recently, some credence to the rumors about a Bully 2 were found when what appeared to be screenshots for the game surfaced. Considering most of these were images of menu screens, some believed that these may have been falsified. Well, it appears that the artist of these images has come out to confirm that these Bully 2 leaked screenshots are indeed fake.

Felipe Borges is a digital artist who recently confirmed the false Bully 2 leaked screenshots on his Twitter account. Borges confirmed that the supposed leaked images of in-game Bully 2 menus were conceptual designs of his own making that “went too far.” Included with the message are hi-res versions of the shared images, which line up with the blurrier screenshots that many had previously reported on.

The tweets have since gotten a variety of responses. Most have been from disappointed and angry Bully fans that now have had their hopes for a sequel dashed again, while some have applauded Borges’s handiwork and ability to replicate the look of Bully menu screens. While it is disappointing to know that these screenshots were not real, it does certainly keep Bully in the minds of game industry members, making the demand for a real sequel even more known. And to make the game a reality, that’s one wedgie closer to freedom.
