Bloodborne PC Port Reportedly In Development

It looks like a whole new legion of Hunters may be getting enlisted in the ongoing battle versus the beasts of Yharnam. While there’s been very little news regarding a potential sequel to the massively popular Dark Souls spin-off Bloodborne, a new report has surfaced suggesting that the original game may be getting an official PC port with an announcement coming within the year.

The new report comes by way of the folks over at Prima Games, which noted that an “insider” on RespawnFirst via Resetera confirms that Bloodborne is slated to be the next PlayStation exclusive after Horizon Zero Dawn to be making the jump to PC. “Bloodborne is currently in development for PC,” the report reads. “I wanted to go ahead and get this to you guys who love to game on PC. This could take 10 months up to a year to get announced but other Sony games might get announced first and this later!”

If you thought that Horizon was the only one coming to PC then prepare to get blown away. But yeah, do NOT take this as 100% confirmation and wait for official news! And of course, take every leak with a grain of salt.”

There’s certainly a bit to unpack here, the elephant in the room being the fact that, given the vaguely juvenile and flippant nature of the report, there is every indication that this could be entirely inaccurate. Still, a Bloodborne PC port is something fans have been clamoring for for quite some time now, and it would make a whole lot of money should it receive a proper port. According to the insider, we’ll receive an official announcement within the next year or so.
