Blizzard Reveals World Of Warcraft Classic Server Option Coming Soon (VIDEO)

Get ready for a World of Warcraft nostalgia trip for respective game veterans for your wish is granted. Honestly, what took them so long? All they really needed was a Temporal Discombobulator. Taking long-time fans and players of the franchise back, the time has finally arrived to bring back the memories with the World of Warcraft classic server. Check out the announcement trailer below:

Patch 7.3 may be live, but this BlizzCon 2017 news takes the cake. A franchise within Blizzard that has a major cult following finally revealed a feature that players have been waiting on for a very, very long time. In fact, in the past, there have been cease and desist notices for free, fan-made legacy servers. Previously known as Nostalrius, it was taken down with a cease and desist. The issue was taken even further when legal actions were taken. Eventually, a civil meet-up was established, but in the end the project re-released itself under the name Elysium.

Furthermore, World of Warcraft revealed a charity Shadow the Fox plush based on the same in-game pet, and will be available to purchase beginning this month in order to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Disaster Relief Emergency Fund. Make sure to check out the Blizzard store for purchase options.

More information will be revealed on when the Warcraft classic server will be available. What do you think of BlizzCon 2017 so far?
