BioWare Talks Mass Effect Andromeda – Here Are Their Plans for Future Fixes and Improvements

BioWare talks

It’s been exactly one day since Mass Effect Andromeda launched, and what a rollercoaster of emotions it has been! From the ecstatic praises, to the angry tirades about the facial animations or the disappointment about the lack of male/male romance options in the game, there have been a lot of feelings about the game’s launch (a lot of them not so great). Whatever the complaint, many players felt jaded by BioWare’s seemingly unpolished game release that had been hyped up for so long. It seems that that slow simmering pot of “what?!” from the shocking end of Mass Effect 3 just had to boil over, especially since everyone seems to feel like their hopes were dashed with Andromeda’s release. The upset seems so strong, it even took BioWare’s lead designer, Ian S. Frazier, taking the Twitter stage to address these concerns. In the latest edition of “BioWare talks”, Frazier addresses many of these concerns.

This is just one Tweet of quite a few, which you’ll be able to see below, about the varying concerns regarding the game’s release, and how seriously BioWare is looking into taking care of their fans. The quick turn around on the lead designer’s part to address individual questions is definitely a boon in restoring fate in BioWare, as they stand strong and care for their game and fans:

Frazier is being vague, which is BioWare’s MO, but the fact that they are publicly taking to this critique is extremely promising, especially if you are aware of the community x BioWare team interaction in the past. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that BioWare has definitive fixes for these problems just yet, but with Frazier’s vigilance, at least we’re comforted with the idea that these problems will be taken care of soon. See what good comes of staying positive, guys?

What do you think of BioWare’s address of the in-game problems found since Mass Effect Andromeda’s release? Do you believe Ian S. Frazier is being honest that the game developers are already hard at work fixing the game up? Share your thoughts in the comments below or hop on over to our Don’t Feed The Gamers Disqus to join in on the conversation there!
