Battlefield V Rumored To Have Eight Multiplayer Modes At Launch

Battlefield V

With the recent alpha testing of Electronic Arts’ upcoming Battlefield V being showcased on Twitch by some of the most popular streamers, fans around the globe cannot wait to get their hands on the title. We only got a taste of the multiplayer action that is to come, and if a recent rumor is to be believed, there’s going to be a whole lot more.

In a recent post to Reddit, user turntrout101 claims that there will be a total of eight multiplayer modes available in Battlefield V at launch. In addition to this, three of them will be new to the series. “Confirmed modes at launch are Conquest, Domination, Frontlines, Team deathmatch and Breakthrough,” says the Redditor.

They claim that the “Source is an article you can read on the Battlefield 1 in-game home menu detailing BFV modes. These modes are stand-alone outside of Grand operations and airborne and final stand are confirmed to be in Grand operations only.”

As it is with all rumors, be sure to have plenty of salt on standby. Until EA makes any sort of official announcement, we can only assume what multiplayer modes will be coming to this year’s installment of the Battlefield franchise. However, if the game ships with that many modes, we’re sure fans will be delighted. Unfortunately, one of the modes will not be battle royale. While competitor CoD will be launching with the mega popular mode, Battlefield V won’t receive it until later.

Battlefield V is set to arrive on October 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
