Battlefield 6 Reveal Confirmed For Next Week (VIDEO)
For over a year now, EA and DICE have been teasing the next entry to the Battlefield series, but while these official announcements have been admittedly very far between, it looks like a more formal reveal is set to drop in a very short amount of time. How soon? Well, according to a new developer post on social media, an official Battlefield 6 unveiling is planned to take place next week on June 9th at 7 p.m. PDT / 4 a.m. CEST.

As seen above, the confirmation went live in the form of a short video teasing the long-awaited “reveal” of Battlefield 6. While it doesn’t give away much of anything substantial, the glitchy effects present in the footage suggests the game may take place in the modern-day, rather than the historical war settings of the series’ past two entries. Of course, that’s just a bit of speculation on our part, as confirmation is likely being saved for the big reveal event.
While EA DICE has been particularly tight-lipped about Battlefield 6. the same can’t entirely be said about the internet as of late, with various supposed leaks and rumors currently surrounding the upcoming game. While we’ll see whether all this speculation comes to pass in under a week’s time, details like a 2021 release window, the involvement of Need For Speed developer Criterion Games, and a release for the last-gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have already been confirmed in an official capacity.
