Batman Mod Brings The Dark Knight To Hyrule In Breath Of The Wild (VIDEO)

Batman Mod

Ever since it dropped earlier this year, gamers have been loving the latest Legend of Zelda installment. Whether it’s exploring the expansive landscapes Hyrule has to offer, taking down all enemies that stand in your way, or hunting down every single Korok seed, the title certainly has a lot to offer. Recently, a Batman mod has popped up for Breath of the Wild, and it allows players to traverse the luscious land as the justice-dispensing vigilante.

Considering he is used to the crime-filled streets of gritty Gotham City, The Dark Knight may seem a bit out of place in Hyrule. Luckily, the character is well versed in hopping to different scenarios. The Batman mod has been shown off in a video uploaded by YouTuber WilianZilv, which you can see below:

As can be seen in the video above, the Batman mod doesn’t stop at replacing Link with the Caped Crusader. The Lizal Boomerang is now the iconic Batarang, while the in-game glider has been transformed into the Bat Glider. Thankfully, the citizens of Hyrule don’t seem to mind that this armor-clad weirdo with a strange voice is now dealing out justice across their homeland. Who knows, maybe one of them has an idea as to where the Joker is hiding out.

The Batman mod is currently available over on GameBanana. WilianZilv is no stranger to modding The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They have also brought Dragonball Z‘s Goku, God of War‘s Kratos, One-Punch Man, Shrek, and Toy Story‘s Woody to the game. A mod is also in the works that will turn the titular princess herself into a playable character.
