Assassins Creed Odyssey Gets Details On Mechanics, Romance, And More (VIDEO)
Ubisoft is bringing a lot of new ideas to Assassins Creed Odyssey. With male or female play choices, a new dialogue wheel, and multiple endings, this is looking to be the series’ most ambitious and RPG leaning title yet. With that in mind, the studio has begun offering fans behind the scenes videos that explore the various changes coming to the title.
This time around, Ubisoft is exploring the RPG mechanics of Assassins Creed Odyssey. A lot of thought has gone into this game, giving players more choices in how they interact with the world around them. Not only will this make for a more unique and personalized experience, but it has also allowed the studio to expand upon what players can do. Fans can see for themselves in the video below:
Romance options have arrived in the title, giving players the chance to have fun in an RPG setting and see how those relationships affect the game as well. Fans can also decide whether they want to romance someone of the same or opposite sex, leading players to more meaningful and personal experiences. Overall it appears the team is approaching these new concepts for Assassins Creed Odyssey with care, thought, and great passion.
New skill trees are also available, giving players more agency in regards to combat style. Whether you prefer ranged, close, or stealth combat, the skill tree will allow players to cultivate their own style giving yet another layer of personalized experience to the game. Assassins Creed Odyssey arrives on October 18th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
