Apex Legends Reveals New Character Rampart’s Abilities (VIDEO)
The start of another Apex Legends season brings with it, as usual, a slew of new content for battle royale fans to enjoy. Headlining the start of Season 6 is none other than Rampart, the latest character coming soon to the game. With the launch of Season 6 scheduled for tomorrow, Respawn Entertainment has revealed Rampart’s full kit and character bio.
In Season 6 – Boosted, new Legend Rampart has arrived to upgrade the competition. Unearth a new way to grab better gear with the all-new Crafting system. Get amped for the new Volt energy SMG, and more!

Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment recently took to the EA website to reveal both Rampart’s kit and her character bio. “Rampart is a blue-collar, private business owner who just needs a big gun and a backpack full of scrap metal to get by in the dangerous, wild west world of the Outlands,” the post reads. “Before opening her popular modding shop on Gaea, Ramya Parekh (Rampart for short) made a name for herself in the underground gauntlet circuit. Parekh climbed to the top showcasing pure skill using her custom-modded gear. She began taking jobs from smugglers, Syndicate members, and everyone in between. Some say it ain’t great unless it’s got “Rampart” written on it.”
Here’s Rampart’s full kit:
- Tactical Ability – Amped Cover: Build a crouch-cover wall, which deploys a full-cover amped wall that blocks incoming shots and amps outgoing shots.
- Passive Ability – Modded Loader: Increased magazine capacity and faster reloads when using LMGs and the MInigun.
- Ultimate Ability – Emplaced Minigun “Sheila”: Place a mounted machine gun that anyone can use. High ammo capacity, long reload time.
Rampart will be available starting tomorrow once Apex Legends Season 6 is live.
