Animal Crossing: New Horizons Free Winter Update Revealed (VIDEO)

Animal Crossing New Horizons Winter Update

Now that Halloween has come and gone, autumn continues until we are officially in the depths of the holiday season. That said, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will certainly be excited as the winter update for the popular Nintendo game has officially been revealed, and it is set to arrive very soon.

Nintendo recently dropped the announcement trailer for the upcoming free winter update, which shows off some of the festivities and features coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. For starters, there will be a Turkey Day event on November 26th, when players will get a chance to meet Franklin, the first-class chef, and collect ingredients to create a feast. Following that, Toy Day will arrive on December 24th, when players can help deliver presents to their island’s residents and meet Jingle, the black-nosed reindeer.

Of course, in addition to festivities, there will be plenty of seasonal items for players to get their hands on. There are even a couple of new items being added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons that players will be able to acquire with their Nook Miles. These include new reactions and hairstyles. Most importantly, however, the update will finally be adding the save data transfer feature. Should you wish to move your island to another Nintendo Switch console, you will be able to do that beginning later this week via the free Island Transfer Tool app, which will be available on the Nintendo eShop.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is currently available on Nintendo Switch, with the free winter update set to arrive on Thursday, November 19th. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
