Agony Developer Announces New Horror Game “Paranoid” (VIDEO)

Agony

Many gamers were disappointed when Agony was released, but in censored form. However, Madmind Studio righted that wrong by releasing the Unrated version just before Halloween. That said, the developer isn’t slowing down, as they have now revealed their next project.

“Paranoid” is an upcoming first-person horror game from Madmind, and while it doesn’t appear to contain the same brutality seen in Agony. Well, some of the brutal bits remain present, but it’s maybe not as graphic. Actually, that’s not even true, as it almost looks like Agony, but not set in hell. Check out the teasers below to see for yourselves (We recommend waiting until you are in a place that doesn’t employ you, as some of the content is NSFW):

For those wondering what Paranoid is all about, here’s more from the game’s Steam description:

“Paranoid is the first-person horror that tells the story of Patrick Calman, who for many years has lived in an apartment he inherited from his deceased parents.
The family tragedy from many years ago caused Patrick to struggle with addictions and mental problems.
The only member of the Patrick family who remained alive was his sister who disappeared 13 years ago.
One day, Patrick answers the phone, as it turns out, from his sister. She announces her arrival – several years after disappearing.
The whole event makes Patrick have to overcome his current life in isolation at the expense of the appearance of nightmarish experiences.”

In addition to the teasers seen above, a concept gameplay video was also released. You can see this below:

Paranoid has no release date as of yet, but is in development for PC. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
