Xbox One Celebrates 300 Plus Titles That Are Backwards Compatible – Free Game for a Limited Time
Larry Hyrb, also known as Major Nelson, announced the addition of the three Bioshock titles to Xbox One’s backward compatibility list – officially making it 300+ titles thus far. Following that, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey were added, and a digital copy of Lost Odyssey is available for a limited time for free. It will be available for download until December 31st. Since then, 6 more games have been added to the list, but they will be the last ones until the new year arrives – Bully: Scholarship Edition, Catherine, Clannad, Planets under Attack, Raskulls, and Skydive.
Unfortunately, Clannad is only accessible for those in Japan. I don’t know about you, but the fact that Catherine is now a compatible title? Totally makes up for Clannad.
Before Xbox One Backward Compatibility team takes some time off for holidays, we have 6 new releases today. Releases resume after New Year

For those wondering – “What? No more backward compatible games until next year?!” Don’t worry, gamers, 2017 will be here before you know it. The team working on this endeavor will have plenty more games to choose from as we turn the corner. And you know Hyrb will let you know all about it too. If you’re a fan of Odyssey, it definitely helps that it’s free until the end of the year, right? Speaking of free games, did you know that today is the last day to get Murdered: Soul Suspect and Outland for free, as well? Seriously, check it out here.
In other gaming news, Destiny the Collection for Xbox One is available for $24.99 right now, when the original MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) was $59.99. That is almost 60% off! The Collection edition includes the latest expansion – Rise of Iron!
Are you going to download or purchase any of the aforementioned games? Lost Odyssey is free, so that is pretty hard to pass up. What about that deal on the Collection edition of Destiny though? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below, we would love to hear from you!
