90’s Throwback – Mondo Features Awesome Nickelodeon Posters
90’s kids, take a gander! If you remember the good old days of Nickelodeon nonsense and thrilling Saturday morning cartoon watching, you’re about to get a hefty dose of nostalgia. Mondo, an online emporium for the gritty collector, has announced the release of a new showing, featuring posters that throw back some serious homage to the cartoon classics of the last century. Mondo has always been known for its eclectic mixture of apparel, vinyls, collectibles and posters which can turn any home into a pop culture dream, so the newest additions to their gallery can only prove their love of yesteryear is just as powerful as ours.
The Mondo Gallery, based in Austin Texas, is going to be featuring brand new upcoming posters, and they are absolutely fantastic. The gallery show runs for one week from Friday, December 9th to Saturday, December 17th, and will be the Mondo Gallery’s last exhibit for the 2016 year. Everyone involved in the project is looking forward to showcasing these original posters featuring iconic characters, and the excitement is real as the Austin-based art gallery prepares for its week of 90’s inspired greatness.
Nickelodeon was a huge part of my childhood. It represented everything cool and rebellious, and parents didn’t know anything about it. We worked with a number of great artists to pay homage to some of the channel’s most influential programming. We hope you have as much fun seeing it as we had making it. ~ Mitch Putnam, Mondo Creative Director
