Goosebumps Board Game On Sale Now For A Limited Time (Because, Spoops!)
Come on, admit it. As a kid, you hoarded those Goosebumps books from R.L. Stine. To be completely honest, I remember thinking (I was a weird kid) when I was younger that if I collected every book, it would somehow open a portal and a secret dimension would be revealed from Stine itself. Like I said, weird. But for those that want to take that nostalgia to the next level, the Goosebumps Board Game is not only here – but it’s on sale too!
According to ThinkGeek:
“When reading all of those Goosebumps books, did you ever stop to think what it must feel like to be one of the monsters? Trapped in a book, foiled for eternity by some punk kid (and their spunky younger sibling, in most cases). How glorious it would be to get out of those pages and make a break for it! If only you could capture R.L. Stine’s typewriter, you’d never have to be stuffed in between the pages of one of his books again.
Play as one of your favorite Goosebumps monsters (Vampire Poodle, Slappy the dummy, the Werewolf of Fever Swamp, the Mummy, the Abominable Snowman of Pasadena, or the Haunted Mask), running loose on the streets of Madison. Race against your fellow monsters to be the first to reach the end. Dash from landmark to landmark, sneak through the graveyard shortcut, steal cards from other players, and use the power of the freeze ray, the haunted car, and the other monsters’ books to get an edge. All while R.L. Stine is hot on your monster tails, trying to stuff you all back into the books you came from!”
