Having been released February 13th, the hyper-realistic RPG set in medieval times has become the topic of conversation in many gaming circles. An incredibly difficult game with some issues since launch has had people both excited and frustrated with the title. Thankfully, a Kingdom Come Deliverance mod has arrived to help make things a little easier.

The Kingdom Come Deliverance mod allows players to avoid using “Saviour Schnapps” to save their game. Instead, one can save almost anywhere in the game without needing anything else. This may help curb some frustration, and also let players explore alternate decisions within the game. Here is a description of the mod to clear up some of the finer details:

Based off the Steam guide by Reddit user EddieShoe and the mod by biosmanager, this will allow you to save your game without using any Saviour Schnapps. Basically giving you unlimited saves.

Please be aware there are certain points in the game (for example, right at the start) where you cannot save the game no matter what and thus, this mod will not allow you to save during these times either.

There are two version of this file. One where you still need at least one schnapps in your inventory and one where you don’t.”

Ultimately, because the game encounters bugs throughout, players will want to ensure that they preserve their saves in case an update to the game renders the Kingdom Come Deliverance mod unusable. Of course, a new game of this magnitude is bound to have some problems after launch, but according to users, the good far outweighs the bad. One of the most interesting features of the game is that story prompts still carry out, if they can, without your participation. This certainly gives the world a more authentic feel, with NPCs who are independent and don’t need the main to meet their own goals.
