Latest Fire Emblem Heroes Update Brings More Story And A New Original Character
Nintendo’s first fully free-to-play mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes is definitely a success. With a constant string of updates and in-game events, it’s hard not to get sucked into a world where every Fire Emblem game converges into one. The latest update to the title brings a ton of new content, most notably, a brand new original character named Fjorm. It also brings an additional expansion to the story dubbed Second Book.
Second Book will focus on the ongoing fight between Fire and Ice, and will bring new characters into the fold. Players will team up with Fjorm, the ice princess in a quest to defeat the self-proclaimed ruler of flame, Surtr. Once players have completed the first part of Second Book, they will be granted a five star version of Fjorm to add to their arsenal of Fire Emblem fighters.
In addition to new characters and story quests, the latest Fire Emblem Heroes update will also unlock new maps. The update will also change the capped stamina costs for all story and paralogue maps to 10 points, which should allow players to play through the story more rapidly. Barracks will expand by one hundred, regardless of size, allowing players to collect and keep more heroes.
Besides the addition of Fjorm, the latest update will also bring some new Legendary heroes into the game. As part of the in-game event Farfetched Heroes, users will have an opportunity to try their luck to win Fire Emblem 7’s Dorcas and Lute from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. While they may not be incredibly familiar faces, fans of the franchise are sure to happily add them to their collections.
Fire Emblem Heroes is available on Android and iOS devices. The latest update is live now! What do you think of newcomer Fjorm? Have you been playing consistently since the title’s launch?
