New Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow Coming to Mobile Games Soon!
Ready to jab some people in the face?! No, not like that, put those fingers down and keep them on your cell phone where they belong because that’s where the face jabbing is happening, people. Why, you might ask? Because Matt Groening himself is excited about the prospect of players getting to do the same thing to his beloved Futurama characters in an upcoming mobile title! I know, weird, right?
Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow has officially been announced by TinyCo. and Fox Interactive, spanning across Facebook, Twitter, and TinyCo.’s website with the latest scoop. Original show creators Groening and David X. Cohen have also been announced as influential creators of the game, along with many of their team mates from the show to create a game that feels just like the series we have loved since the beginning. “I love this game because it feels just like Futurama,” said Groening. “Except now you get to jab the characters in the face.” See? And you thought I was crazy.
Futurama is back, bigger and better than ever! Or possibly smaller and equally good. But either way, it’s back! We’ve got completely new stories from the original writers, cast, and animators. This is the real Futurama deal. – David X. Cohen, Co-Developer of Futurama
