There are more billionaires in the world than there probably should be, and one of the most influential billionaires in recent years has been Elon Musk. Musk sought to revolutionize the automobile industry with Tesla, his automotive company that has created innovative new electric cars. With the Tesla electric vehicles, Musk has been able to express his fondness for nerd culture by allowing Tesla drivers to play video games like Cuphead and Stardew Valley on the car’s dashboard touchscreen. Now, a new Tesla update has included more nerdy features, including the song “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher” being playable through the car’s horn.

DualShockers co-founder Joel Taveras recently shared a video on his Twitter account of his new Tesla in action at his home. Taveras explained to DualShockers that the Model Y Tesla received a new downloadable update on the recently passed Christmas day which included a new Boombox feature. The feature utilizes an external speaker that was installed into Tesla vehicles at launch, but did not have their functionality enabled until this latest update. The Boombox feature lets the user play audio through this speaker, so passers by can hear the driver’s Doja Cat tunes or NPR podcast of choice.

The Boombox feature also allows for up to five custom sounds or a set of pre-installed songs to be played from the external speaker. Among the pre-installed songs is none other than the “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher” song sung by Jaskier the bard in the Netflix adaptation of The Witcher novels. Now rich Tesla owners can have the ballad of Geralt of Rivia blasting from their car as they cruise around town. It is interesting that this would be one of the songs included in the pre-installed list, as this would’ve likely necessitated a licensing deal with Netflix, but also the fact that there are no cars in the Witcher universe. No matter the reason, Tesla owners can finally have their traveling bard dreams fulfilled, at the price of hundreds of thousands of coins being tossed to their Elon Musk. Oh Oh Oh.
