Cyberpunk 2077 Devs Detail The Rule-Breaking Voodoo Boys Gang
With another month to go until the developers at CD Projekt RED reveal more about their highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, fans are itching to learn everything about the title. That said, the studio has been offering up brief descriptions about the gangs we’ll be meeting in Night City, with the latest being focused on the Voodoo Boys.
If you remember correctly, we met the Voodoo Boys in last year’s deep dive video, which revealed the gang to be a group of highly skilled netrunners who don’t exactly play by the rules. The gang will surely present Cyberpunk 2077 players with many challenges as they are proficient in mixing things up with a virus or two as well as devoted to uncovering secrets within the Old Net.
Voodoo Boys, an enigmatic gang from Pacifica, aren’t just netrunners devoted to uncovering the secrets of the Old Net and behind the Blackwall. They’re also edgerunners: breaking every rule there is to break, and programming viruses that can freeze neural networks. #Cyberpunk2077 pic.twitter.com/Q1ckqAf5we

As can be seen in the tweet above, the Voodoo Boys come from Pacifica, a region within Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City, the sprawling futuristic metropolis that makes up the setting of the upcoming game. Players will no doubt find a shortage of experiences during their time in Night City, especially considering all of the gangs that are running rampant. The Voodoo Boys may only be one of said gangs, but they will definitely be ones to keep a close eye on.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive on September 17th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
