Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC Trailer Revealed (VIDEO)
Earlier this year, Kingdom Hearts III game director Tetsuya Nomura unveiled some interesting details about the game’s upcoming paid DLC, called Re:Mind. The director noted that fans that ponied up for the extra content would be given access to a whole new scenario within the game, which includes multiple bosses, new bits of episodic content, and more. True to his word, Nomura-san and Square Enix have released a brand new trailer for Re:Mind ahead of the game’s slated appearance at TGS 2019, and it checks all those boxes and more.
Released via YouTube, the new Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind trailer reopens the door on some of the members of Organization XIII, while also unveiling some interesting developments regarding some of our favorite characters. Additionally, fans are also treated to Sora’s ‘new’ keyblade, Oathkeeper, which is actually an older weapon of his that had yet to appear in KH3. Check out the trailer below:
As seen in the new trailer, Sora’s Oathkeeper comes with a new form for Sora to master. This particular aspect of the upcoming DLC is actually free for players, and as such they won’t need to purchase the DLC to enjoy it. According to the trailer, fans can expect to see the release of the Re:Mind DLC at some point in the Winter season of this year.
Kingdom Hearts III is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
