GameStop’s Next Batch of Xbox One X Consoles for Pre-Order Incoming
One of the highlights of this year’s E3 was the unveiling of Microsoft’s super console, the Xbox One X. The “most powerful console ever released” is set to hit shelves this November, and gamers can’t wait to get their hands on it. In a record breaking amount of time, the mega-console console quickly sold out at popular retail chain, GameStop. Starting on September 20th, GameStop will now be taking a second round of pre-orders for the upgraded console.
The announcement arrives just a day before the second round of console pre-orders are to go live. The announcement reads:
After selling out of Xbox One X – Project Scorpio Edition console reserves in record time, GameStop has now secured a new allotment of the world’s most powerful system, in its standard edition. Accompanying the second wave of pre-orders, the company is showing its commitment to providing customers the best value in gaming with exclusive trade-in offers and layaway options.
Pre-orders for the Xbox One X will go live on September 20th at 12:00 p.m. CT, and are expected to go quickly. GameStop also announced that Power Up Rewards members can receive up to $200 for trading in their older Xbox One consoles toward the purchase of the One X. Additionally, the company revealed that consumers can purchase the super console via their layaway program, which offers three different bundled tiers.
