The Witcher Fruit Ninja Crossover Pits Geralt’s Motion Capture Actor Against Fruit (VIDEO)

The Witcher

If you’ve ever had the need to see Geralt of Rivia demolish fruit, you’re not alone. In a recent video, The Witcher crossed over with Fruit Ninja, allowing the master swordsman an opportunity to take on a farmer’s stand. Thankfully, no cabbages were harmed during filming.

Alan Padziński, a Historical European Martial Arts instructor and fan of The Witcher, recently posted a video to YouTube titled Fruit Witcher. The footage gives everyone a good look at someone who knows their way around a sword, and exactly how lethal it can be towards fruit. In addition to this, Geralt’s motion capture actor, Maciej Kwiatkowski, joined in on the action. Check it out below:

The video seen above features nearly four minutes of fruit slaying goodness. Padziński handles a good portion of the onslaught, but when the odds are stacked against him, The Witcher appears. Kwiatkowski comes flying in to save the day, and then joins in on the fun. According to the video’s description, “A lone Witcher investigates a monster-infested riverbank… little does he know, how insidious enemy he’s going to encounter.”

For those unfamiliar with Geralt from The Witcher franchise, here’s a bit more on his background:

“Like all witchers, Geralt is a monster hunter for hire. He possesses superhuman abilities and is a master swordsman. During the Trial of the Grasses, Geralt exhibited unusual tolerance for the mutagens that grant witchers their abilities. Accordingly, Geralt was subjected to further experimental mutagens which rendered his hair white and may have given him greater speed, strength, and stamina than his fellow witchers.”

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we wait for Geralt to appear elsewhere, and for other gaming godness going on right now, check out the following:
