What’s New and What’s Leaving Netflix June 2017
It’s the end of another month and that means Netflix is cooking up a hot batch of tasty new movies and TV shows for subscribers to consume. As always, Netflix June 2017 begins with a large unloading of content with Jim Carrey’s holiday-themed How the Grinch Stole Christmas and thrillers such as The Sixth Sense and Zodiac highlighting the bunch. The CW shows The 100 and Arrow also make a quick entry onto the streaming service, as per an exclusivity agreement struck between the two companies earlier last year. In a similar deal, Disney’s Moana also makes its debut later in the month.
The service has seemingly doubled-down on home grown content for the upcoming month with the addition of 20 announced series and films on Netflix June 2017. Out of these, the fifth season of Orange is the New Black is arguably the most anticipated, especially since the series made headlines earlier in the month. Others include the ladies pro-wrestling chronicle GLOW and South Korean monster movie Okja.
Next month, we must also say goodbye to a few beloved movies as well. Classics such as rock mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, found footage horror pioneer The Blair Witch Project, and the family-friendly adventure Honey, I Shrunk the Kids leaving early in the month.
