Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide to Add Standalone VR Experience
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is a first-person shooter/action adventure set in the wonderfully epic End Times of Warhammer’s fantasy world, in which you and three other players have to fend off hordes of animal-like creatures. It has often been compared to Left 4 Dead in that aspect, and even has its critics for not developing the game a little bit more and finding its own voice. However, people seem to greatly enjoy it! Vermintide has been out on PC for over a year now, but only recently made its way to PS4 and Xbox One. Now that it has been out for consoles for a month, it was time for Fatshark to shake things up even more. Enter VR.

In collaboration with Twitch user Sevadus, Fatshark announced that a standalone VR experience would be coming to Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, and that it will be exclusive to the HTC Vive. Not much is known about the experience at this point other than it is free to those who already own Vermintide, and that you will be playing as an apprentice being tested on whether or not they are good enough to join the heroes in battle. Sevadus giving the VR experience a go can be seen in the video here. Skip to 55:30 if you wish to just see the VR segment.
