Expansive Indoor Theme Park in Dubai is Bringing Ubisoft Franchises to Life

Ubisoft has created some amazing universes with successful franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon, Watch Dogs, and more. Now gamers can enjoy these same worlds but in reality … well, at least if you can make it to Dubai.

The gaming powerhouse recently announced that they are partnering up to bring an immaculately large indoor theme park at IMG World. Asssassin’s Creed, Just Dance, and Rabbids are just a few of the Ubisoft franchises that will be making an appearance. Pokemon and others will also pop up randomly – which, alright, sure … we’re OK with that.

In the released statement, Ubisoft made it clear that they wanted to expand these well-known franchises beyond the realm of gaming which is wildly apparent with film adaptations like the new Assassin’s Creed moving that is dropping later this month.

The newest theme park, set to open around 2020, is going to be comprised of nine zones, seven of which are fully licensed with companies like Mattel and Ubisoft. Here are the revealed attractions thus far:

  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Just Dance
  • Rabbids
  • Sponge Bob Square Pants
  • Dora the Explorer
  • Power Rangers
  • Barbie
  • Pokemon
  • Dragon Ball Z

Gaming is definitely being taken to a new level and Ubisoft isn’t the only company to hop onboard this train. Nintendo has made it very clear that they are wanting to expand their brand even further as well by implementing a partnership with Universal in order to have attractions visible in those theme parks. Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid – Contra laser tag (I can dream, can’t I?)! The sky is the limit and now more than ever it is definitely a great time to be a gamer.
