Toy Story is a beloved Disney-Pixar franchise that gave us all nightmares and paranoid over-the-shoulder looks after we left the room. Are toys playing coy as inanimate objects? Probably not, but it doesn’t stop this animated series from maintaining its popularity over the years. Returning with a brand new sequel this Summer, Toy Story 4 premieres in theaters with a classic and self-assured character, little ‘ol Bo Peep.

Known for her assertive attitude and no-nonsense approach to her romance with Woody, Bo Peep returns to the animated sequel with a wardrobe upgrade and overall badass look. Instead of being worn down by a giant hoop skirt and all the dressings, it looks like she’s done away with it all for a modern, heroic look. Check her out:

Since the announcement of Bo Peep’s reprisal in Toy Story 4, Disney-Pixar has since shown  a few updates on the its development and that includes a photo of Tom Hanks and crew doing the last bit of voice work! Alongside Hanks is Keanu Reeves, Patricia Arquette, Annie Potts as Bo Peep, Wallace Shawn as Rex, and various other familiar names.

Buzz, Woody, and friends embark on another wonderful and possibly dangerous adventure in Toy Story 4, when a toy named Forky joins the crew. Taking them all on a road trip to remember, this new fella shows them just “how big the world can be.” John Lasseter marks his return as a writer, joined by another seasoned industry name in Andrew Stanton! Disney-Pixar sees a new director for the sequel in Josh Cooley, known for his work on Inside Out, Up, and Ratatouille. Whether or not you were prepared for Toy Story 4, it’s going to be another crazy ride for the next generation of Disney-Pixar fans!
