Torchlight 3 Full Release Confirmed For This Month

Torchlight 3 full version

The early access model has become one of the biggest and most helpful avenues utilized by smaller and independent developers to create and release games. Thanks to digital platforms like Steam, developers have been able to release partial versions of their games to help drum up excitement before the full release, as well as gain insight from the community to help make their projects even better. One such early access game has been Torchlight 3, which has promised a faithful continuation of the action RPG series. Now, after many months of waiting, it seems that a Torchlight 3 full release will finally be coming this month.

Recently, Perfect World and Echtra Games announced a Torchlight 3 full release date on their official Torchlight Twitter account. The full version of Torchlight 3 is now officially set to launch on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 13th. A Nintendo Switch version of the game was also confirmed, although it will be released at a currently unknown date after October 13th. The game will cost $39.99 on each platform, and pre-orders are available now.

Torchlight 3 full release

Another interesting tidbit about the Torchlight 3 full release is that each version of the game will include a platform-specific fairy companion called a “Glittersprite.” The Steam version will have a violet Glittersprite, while the PS4 version will have an azure Glittersprite. The Xbox One version will have a fitting green verdant Glittersprite, and the Nintendo Switch version will feature an ashen Glittersprite when that version releases. Torchlight 3 has already provided a fun RPG experience for early access players, and hopefully, the full version lives up to all of the hype so far.
