Tiny Barbarian DX Means Beefcake Business In Latest Launch Trailer For The Switch (VIDEO)
Back in 2013, Tiny Barbarian DX featured its debut release on Steam and the game is finding its way on over to the Nintendo Switch console. In celebration of this momentous occasion, Nicalis, Inc. and StarQuail Games have release a pretty sweet launch trailer and it features pretty juicy beefcakes, and it looks like they mean business. Under the guise of a retro infomercial for some serious body workout routines, this 2-D hack-and-slash platformer is really all fun and games.
In the launch trailer for Tiny Barbarian DX above, players can see what the game is all about behind the flexing and poses straight out of a body-building contest. Thoroughly peppered throughout the video features gameplay that has the main character facing off against killer bees, gargantuan creatures, and challenging jump puzzles. A bit unusual for a game such as this, Tiny Barbarian DX is spread across 4 separate episodes with bonus content in the “versus The Horde” mode, two player co-op, and even secret game modes to unlock.
Steel yourself for a relentless display of might and muscle…of brawn and bravery…of magic and mayhem! Can you cleave your enemies’ skulls, plunder all the booty and flex to impress the barbarienne of your dreams? Inspired by heroic fantasy fiction, Tiny Barbarian DX combines engaging 2D platform action and combo-based hack-and-slash combat with retro-style pixel art and a loincloth-stirring chiptune soundtrack.
Now available for the Switch, gamers can purchase Tiny Barbarian DX on the Nintendo eShop right here! Have you played the game before? Will this make it on your list of play-worthy titles?
