One of the most highly anticipated games in recent memory has been the follow up to The Last of Us. However, the sequel has seemingly been struggling in its development, not only with issues at Naughty Dog, but also the title being delayed indefinitely. That said, it has been revealed that The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima each have a new release date.

Following a massive leak, Sony took to the PlayStation Blog to reveal that The Last of Us Part II now has the release date of June 19th. In addition to this, it was also disclosed that the highly anticipated PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima will launch the following month on July 17th.

“I want to personally congratulate and thank both the teams at Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions on their achievements, as we know it’s not an easy feat to reach the finish line under these circumstances,” SIE head Hermen Hulst said in the blog post. “Both teams have worked hard to deliver world-class experiences, and we can’t wait to see what you think of them when they release in just a few short months.”

As stated above, this comes after the huge The Last of Us Part II leak, which saw a bounty of information regarding the game’s story revealed. Many fans on Twitter seemingly think this is a good thing as retaliation against Naughty Dog for overworking their employees, while others see it as a slap in the face to all of the devs who maybe didn’t want their work leaked ahead of launch. Either way, it’s a pretty stick situation that probably could have been avoided.

The Last of Us Part II is set to arrive on June 19th, while Ghost of Tsushima launches on July 17th. Each is exclusive for the PlayStation 4. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
